Jon Davies

Jon Davies is an Executive Vice President of Golden Gate Capital, which he joined in 2013. Prior to joining Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Davies served as the Firm’s tax advisor for over a decade while he was a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP where he served as a member of both the US and Global Boards of Partners and led the National Tax Practice and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. Previously, he was a Professor of Accounting and Law at the University of Alabama and was an Adjunct Professor of Tax Accounting at Georgia State University. Mr. Davies has a DBA from Louisiana State University, a JD from the University of Alabama, an MA in Accounting from the University of Florida, and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Louisiana-Monroe. Mr. Davies is a member of the Alabama Bar, and is a Certified Public Accountant in California, New York, and Louisiana.
