William Wang

William Wang focuses on opportunistic credit investments across verticals with an emphasis on the broader Industrials sector at Golden Gate Capital, which he joined in 2021. Prior to joining Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Wang worked as a Credit Analyst and Director of Research in the San Francisco office of Angel Island Capital. Previously, he was a Vice President in the Los Angeles office of Oaktree Capital Management, an Associate in the Hong Kong office of D.E. Shaw, and an Investment Banking Analyst in the New York office of Rothschild. Mr. Wang has an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia (with Distinction).
