Janice Lin

Janice Lin is an Operating Executive with Golden Gate Capital, where she has been engaged since 2019. Ms. Lin focuses on the Industrials sector covering a broad range of leadership, operational, sourcing, supply chain, and general business matters. She currently serves on the board of DMC Power. Prior to joining Golden Gate Capital, Ms. Lin held the position of General Manager and Senior Executive, Global Sourcing for the total GE Aviation business. Previously, Ms. Lin spent nearly a decade at Caterpillar, including more than three years resident in Asia, where she held senior executive roles of increasing responsibility in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain for the company. Earlier in her career, Ms. Lin spent significant time in the automotive industry through leadership roles in engineering, operations, supply chain and corporate strategy with Ford Motor Company and General Motors, and in management consulting with A.T. Kearney. Ms. Lin has an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan as well as a BS in Engineering from the University of Michigan.
